The ZHV INOX manual chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 500kg to 1,000kg and is ideally suited to lifting and handling solutions within clean room environments.
The ZHV INOX is available with the following optional extras:
- CHZ INOX trolley for normal headroom operations
- Load limiter

The ZHV INOX manual chain hoist is designed to provide users with a hygienic lifting solution for clean room environment. It is supplied with the following equipment as standard:
- Totally stainless steel body, hooks, lifting chain and hand chain
- Stainless steel casing protects chain sprocket, gear case and handwheel
- Electrolytic polishing surface treatment
- ISO stainless steel upper and lower hooks with safety latch
- 3 meters standard height of lift (hand chain is 0.5 meters less than load chain)
- Compact design with reduced weight to optimise safety during operations
- Chain sprocket and gears have been machined to provide an easy, efficient operation
- Supplied with EC Declaration of Conformity

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE CHOOSING A MANUAL CHAIN HOIST
Manual Chain Hoists are hand operated chain blocks that are widely used throughout the industry, despite the labour involved in usage.
A manual chain hoist can be a preferred option for a number of applications including where A permanent installation for infrequent use is required, A temporary installation for erection or maintenance purposes is required, Precision location of the load is required and A suitable power supply is not readily available.
WHEN DOES YOUR HOIST NEED A GENERAL OVERHAUL OR TO BE REPLACED?
Hoists, whether they are electric chain hoists, manual chain hoists, electric wire rope hoists or electric belt hoists are all manufactured with 10 years of serviceable life before a major overhaul or replacement is required. The ten year service life may not necessarily be a physical ten years of operation, but may be used up more quickly or slowly based on how the machine is being operated during its working life.
In order to help evaluate the working life of a hoist you need to be able to calculate how much of the original manufacturers Safe Working Period exists after your lifting operations have occurred.
