Standard electric chain hoists from 60kg to 10,000kg with a complete range of hook suspension units with manual and electric travel trolleys.
Duty Class determination for chain hoists:
Three fundamental criteria must be taken into account to determinate duty class for electric chain hoists:
- Number of starts per hour
- Duty factor
- Daily operating time
Type of duty:
- Light duty: F.E.M. Group 1Bm
150 starts per hour
25% Duty factor
or
- Production duty: F.E.M. Group 2m
240 starts per hour
40% Duty factor
We require the following information to be able to quote you for the correct electric chain hoist for your application:
- Load capacity
- Height of lift
- Hoisting speeds
- Power supply
- Beam width (if trolley is requried)
- FEM / ISO Duty Group (see above)
- Suspension: hook, push, chain / electric trolley
- Operating environment i.e. outdoors
- Any other special requirements
