Truss system equipped with Stagemaker motors

A Milos M950 truss system has been installed by Decima Italia into the newly revamped FuturShow Station venue in Casalecchio di Reno near Bologna, Italy. It is equipped with 28 Stagemaker SM10 2t motors, from French firm Verlinde.

The building is under the new management of the Sabatini Group….

Verlinde hoists to open the way for ships

Four 15t Verlinde Eurobloc VT electric hoists are to be used to construct a ‘lifting bridge’ that will link the cities of Tigre and Vila La Ñata in Argentina.

The bridge will be lifted and lowered to allow ships to pass through it, up to 20 times a day.

Verlinde launches ZHR – “Heavy Duty” Manual Chain Hoist

Verlinde has launched the new ZHR “heavy duty” manual chain hoist, designed for frequent lifting of loads between 500kg and 5,000kg.

The ZHR comes in a choice of seven different models, according to the desired lifting capacity and reeving system, Verlinde said. Standard features include a four-bearing lifting mechanism and a load limiter for greater safety. The load wheel and reduction gears are machined to operate for longer under heavy use.

Hoists give lift to Amsterdam Arena

Industrial hoists and stage hoists have combined to install two new video walls at Amsterdam Arena, in the Dutch capital city.

The 12 x 8m, 15t Sony video walls were lifted into place at a height of 41m using two VT4 machinery hoists, with a special three-fall reeving to guarantee safety, Verlinde said.

 

The video walls each feature a large front screen and a smaller back screen, which can be lowered out of the main screen. This process is carried out by two VL25 chain hoists with 35m lift heights and simultaneous control.

New travelling trolleys for chain hoists

Verlinde is now offering guided and motorised travelling trolleys for its Stagemaker chain hoists.

The motorised trolleys are fitted with speed variation and are controlled by an R8CPU VS controller. The use of this controller makes it possible to drive up to 64 motors in automatic or semi-automatic mode, Verlinde said. This can be used to create ‘the most elaborate scenic effects’, it added.

Stagemaker hoists take Croatian arena in hand

Four Stagemaker SM10 hoists have been used to handle the 5t media cube at the heart of Croatia’s largest arena, Arena Zagreb.

The hoists, from French firm Verlinde, have been installed alongside an FL4PRMLV controller, also from Verlinde, to elevate the cube, which primarily consists of Italian firm Tecnovision’s LED screens and displays game scores, adverts and personal messages.

Verlinde equips Hangar 23

Verlinde animates French music hall

Verlinde has provided the solution for the first Zénith music hall in France to be electrically prewired for light and sound equipment, with its electric chain hoists and trolleys employed in the stage area.

FL Structure used 50 SM5 electric chain hoists from the Stagemaker range, around 100 CHD manual travelling trolleys and a number of CHV motorised trolleys at the Zénith in Amiens.
